California Stars is a side project from the Les Lunes folks [and, we assume, a nod to Wilco!].
+ GRAPES: Organic. Blend of 45% Chardonnay, 25% Grenache Blanc, 15% Vermentino + 15% Tocai Friulano. Dry-farmed in majestic Redwood Valley, California.
+ PROFILE: Dry. Fresh-styled orange, gently aromatic. Fresh apricot, lychee, papaya, tangerine skin. Mineral finish with chalky tannins. A great crossover if you're a fan of Meinklang Weisser Mulatchak. N.B. - Enjoy with just a light-medium chill so those lovely secondary flavors really shine.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Blended just prior to bottling, with modest added sulfites for stability.
