Patti's pure Malbec is made simply and traditionally in Luján de Cuyo within Mendoza. Arguably the best example of “traditional style” Malbec one can find in Argentina.
+ GRAPE: 100% Malbec, grown sustainably in Mendoza, Argentina.
+ PROFILE: Dry, medium body and acidity. This is a fresher style of Malbec that demonstrates generosity in the red currant and forest berry tones, but restraint on the oak.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Fermented with wild yeast and aged in concrete for 12 months, then moved to French Oak (mostly used) for 12 additional months. Unfined and unfiltered. Patti believes in a longer aging process to achieve his signature balance.
