Sancerre's Neighbor
A mere 22 kilometers southwest of Sancerre in the Loire Valley lies this region of Morogues in Menetou-Salon.

GRAPE: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

FUNDAMENTALS: Practicing organic. Biodynamic practices. Dry. Medium+ body and silky acidity. Low intervention and sulfites.

FLAVOR PROFILE: Yellow plum, yellow apple, saline minerality. Bright and crisp, this is a stoney, complex version of the Loire Valley's other storied AOC. 

PAIRINGS: Pretty all on its own, but excels with seafood, entree salads, and goat's milk cheeses.

FUN FACTS: Kimmeridgian soil (ancient seabed) lends wonderfully stoney, minerally tones to this little gem.
