+ Exclusive to this gift set, Single Barrel #4436 illustrates how a subtle difference in mashbill can influence a whiskey’s flavor profile. Whereas our Straight Bourbon excludes traditional flavor grains such as rye or wheat from its recipe, this single barrel selection contains 29% rye alongside 56% corn and 15% malt. As a result, the finish of this well-aged whiskey is largely defined by the appetizing and robust spice characteristics inherent in the rye grain, while a backbone of thick caramel provides balance throughout the sip.
