While this is, in fact, Garganega grown in the Veneto region of Italy, it's a wildly different beast.
+ GRAPE: Organic. 100% Garganega. Grown in rich volcanic soils high on the hilltops of the Soave appellation.
+ PROFILE: Dry. Fuller-bodied and textural. Golden color in appearance, but no skin contact. White peach, apricot, waxy lemon, herbal honeyed-tones. Bright and crisp; mineral finish.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Two, young brothers are behind this winery. All grapes are hand-harvested. Stainless steel wine production. Unfined/unfiltered. Low sulfites.
+ PAIRINGS: Cream-based dishes; fatty poultry cuts; scallops/lobster and other richer fish.
