+ GRAPES: 90% Grenache + 10% Cinsault. Certified organic growing on limestone soils in northern Provence, France.
+ PROFILE: Dry, medium body, balanced acidity. Fresh! Brooding floral nose, followed by cherry hard candy and ripe raspberries. Fruit-driven, but not sweet. A lovely wine.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Grapes are destemmed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks using only wild yeast. Aged in concrete eggs. Low sulfites, and modest ABV.
+ PAIRINGS: Absolutely anything from the grill, but perfectly delightful all on its own.
+ FUN FACT: This is only the second vintage from these young winemakers who have worked tirelessly to convert their vineyards to certified-organic status; they have also opted for the more lenient Vin De France designation.
