Founded in 1932, these folks are the real deal. They use oak barrels at every stage of the winemaking process, lending a textbook style to their Rioja.
+ GRAPES: 70% Tempranillo + 30% Garnacha. Sustainably grown in Rioja, Spain.
+ PROFILE: Super classic. Dry, medium body and acidity, silky tannins. Brambly berries, black cherry, pomegranate, anise, black pepper, oaky spice and vanilla tannins.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: 100% oak winemaking. Filtration using egg whites to lend that silky texture [n.b. not vegan].
