No, this isn't Drops of God - Season 2, but it is a fabulous light red made in a working monastery of Benedictine monks. Fun fact.
+ GRAPE: 100% Schiava. Also known as St. Magdalener, or Vernatsch. Grown sustainably outside of Bolzano in the Sudtirol area of Alto Adige in Italy.
+ PROFILE: I'm dry, light-bodied with bright acidity. An alpine wine with mountain flowers on the nose, followed by earthy crunchy red berries, alpine berry fruit, and black pepper. Medium tannins add a welcomed crunch. Enjoy with a light chill.
