A lighter, juicier side of Supertuscan style: Sangiovese blended with non-indigenous varietals.
+ GRAPES: A red blend of 70% Sangiovese + 30% Merlot. Grown using organic and biodynamic principles within the broader Chianti region.
+ PROFILE: Dry-juicy, medium body and acidity, soft tannins. Red poppies on the nose, then notes of ripe raspberry, earthy cherry, cranberry, and juicy plum. Enjoy with a light chill. Wonderful with steak off the grill, sausages, charcuterie, or mushroom dishes.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: The grapes are destemmed, then co-fermented using wild yeast in cement tanks to keep things fresh. Zero fining and just a light filtration: suitable for vegans. Low sulfites, simply at bottling.
