Lands squarely in that 'inbetweener' zone of 'is it a light red, or a really dark rose?'. Given the flavor profile, we opted for the former - so forget it says 'rosato' on the label :)
+ GRAPE: 100% Syrah. Organic. It's unusual to see Syrah grown so far deep in Sicily, off the southeastern tip of the island.
+ PROFILE: Dry-juicy, light body, smooth tannins, balanced acidity. Watermelon, blood orange, saline strawberry, Campari herbs, tomato leaf. Serve with a medium chill, on repeat.
+ FUNDAMENTALS: Direct-pressed grapes. Whole-cluster fermentation using only wild yeast in stainless steel. Unfined/unfiltered, and just a touch of sulfites to keep things clean and pretty.
