+ GRAPES: Organic. Grown in two vineyards in Santa Maria Valley: Rancho Ontiveros and Rancho Sisquoc. The vine age is 5-20 years old and the soils are Garey series sandy loam.
+ VINIFICATION: Each vineyard was picked separately with varying amounts of whole-cluster fermentation (20-60%). Fermentation using wild yeasts, aged in old French Oak for 10 months prior to assemblage and bottling. Unfiltered. Low sulfur: 25ppm free SO2.
+ I'M RARE: A mere 1500 cases produced. A true small-production winery.
