Availability: In stock

CHAMPAGNE IN CHROMACOLOR

Grand Cru Champagne from a young, former aerospace engineer turned somm turned Champagne producer.

+ GRAPES: 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay. Multiparcel vines grown in Mesnil and Oger. Certified organic + biodynamic.

+ PROFILE: Brut nature. Zero dosage. Dry and fresh. White flowers, wet stone, minerally-chalky, lemon, white peach, brioche.

+ FUNDAMENTALS: Base vintage is 2020. 30% of the cuvée is fermented in wood; 30% is in steel. 40% is reserve wine from a perpetual solera started in 2014. Full malolactic fermentation.

+ FUN FACTS: Regnault is friends with the new-guard 'Champ Pack' - Etienne Calsac and Flavian Nowack. We've featured Champagne from both producers over the years.

Stephane is also a passionate jazz saxophone musician, hence the beautiful labels: visual representations of different modes in improvisational jazz that evoke the tone and structure of each wine. The ‘Chromatique’ cuvée is taken from bits and pieces of all of the sites with which Regnault works, to give a multilayered snapshot of the terroir—one that, in the musical term, ‘uses all the notes.’
